Overlook was started in the summer of 2016 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Guitarist/vocalist, Carson Bull; drummer, Colin Christenson; pianist/guitarist, Jimmy Haines; and bassist, Sam Bellavance all met with the desire to make and perform music. They started by covering their favorite classic rock and 70’s blues artists, but have since switched their focus to writing original music. Drawing inspiration from artists like Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Black Keys, and The Beatles, Overlook has crafted a sound that is original yet pays homage to their rock and blues roots. The group's virtuosity on their instruments and four-part vocals puts them years ahead of their age. In 2017 they released their first self made EP, Overlook, all recorded in Carson's basement. The four members started Label Records, and continue to release music on their own independent label. After enhancing their skills by working the local midwest circuit, they started writing their second project End of Summer. Recorded with Scott Rottler at Berry Street Records, the album released in May of 2019. In August of 2019 they returned once again to Berry Street Records, later releasing their second EP Overlook Two in September of 2019. Their single Over There was released in May of 2020. Overlook's most recent album Someway Somehow is available now. The band currently resides in Nashville, TN.
